Snapper
The Snapper pump control system provides
constant pressure with variable speed control for single pump
systems.
Designed with ease of use in mind, the Snapper system is a reliable,
cost-effective pump control solution for even the most demanding
environment. Its simple ‘dial’ control enables
operators to easily vary the set point pressure, and turn
the system on and off while the unique ‘no-flow’
and pressure protection features provide constant system protection.
It has an inbuilt pressure transducer and communicates precisely
with the VFD to maintain constant pressure. This, combined
with numerous programmable options ensures the GWi system
is suitable for use in a wide range of applications.
The unique protection features of the Snapper ensures correct
system operation while reducing the risk of downtime. Flow
rate is automatically determined to ensure system does not
run out of water. In addition, system status including run,
high pressure, low pressure, VFD fault and no flow condition
is indicated via LED.
Other highlights include:
- Constant pressure variable speed control
for single pump operation
- Selectable options for additional pump
control including jockey pump and lag pump modes
- Simple dial adjustment of set point - operator
can easily adjust set point to suit application
- Inbuilt system protection including high
& low pressure with adjustable delay timers
- Automatic adjustment of system protection
with change of set point
- Programmable relay output for external
communication including BMS systems
- LED display for pump operation, status
and any fault conditions
- Automatic calculation of “no flow”
condition
- Remote start input
- Selectable “manual” control
with or without system protection
- Ability to enable ‘speed’
selection in manual mode
- Suitable for both new installations and
existing pump systems
- Customized switchboards to suit application
- Level or temperature operation options
